Beml Limited

Beml Limited has a long history here in Kolar Gold Fields. Our address is simply Beml Nagar, which shows how much we are part of this town. This place was built around the industry, and many families have worked here for generations. We don't have a small shopfront; it’s a large site with a lot of history in the walls. The buildings are quite old, dating back to when the mining area was in its prime. We focus on heavy machinery and equipment. It’s loud, busy, and there’s always something being moved by a crane. Walking through the yard, you see a lot of steel and yellow paint. It’s not the kind of place where you’d wear a suit. We are engineers, mechanics, and laborers. The air smells like oil and iron most of the time. We’ve seen the town change a lot over the years, but the work here stays pretty much the same. It’s about building things that last. We don't use fancy slogans. The machines we build speak for themselves. People in KGF know who we are. We provide jobs for a lot of the locals. It’s a community effort as much as it is a business. We start the shifts early while it is still cool outside. By mid-afternoon, the sun is beating down on the sheds, but the work doesn't stop. It is a solid way to make a living for all of us.
