Wintair Refrigeration

Wintair Refrigeration is based out of Nayandahalli at Ram Colony 16. It is a modest workshop where we spend our time fixing cooling units and dealing with fridge parts. The space is pretty packed with old compressors, copper tubing, and various tools scattered across the workbenches. We usually have a few broken refrigerators standing around waiting for a part to arrive. It is a bit of a maze walking through the shop sometimes. Our hands are usually covered in some kind of grease or sealant by the end of the morning. We spend a lot of time out on calls, driving around to different neighborhoods to look at units that stopped working in the middle of the night. The office part is just a desk with a phone that rings quite a bit, usually when the weather gets hot and everyone’s AC starts acting up. We have a small fan that tries its best to keep the shop cool, but it mostly just moves the warm air around. It is a noisy environment with the sound of testing motors and the clinking of wrenches. We aren’t trying to be a big chain; we are just a local repair spot where we know how to get a motor running again. Sometimes we have to hunt for a specific bolt for an hour, but that is just how the job goes. It is a practical, honest way to spend the day in Nayandahalli.
