Our facility for Wincap Cable Pvt Ltd is located in the Rajajinagar Industrial Estate, specifically at Anand Nagar C33. Being in an industrial zone means it is always loud with the sounds of machinery and trucks passing by. Our floor is mostly taken up by large spools of wire and various types of cabling waiting to be processed. There is a lot of metal and plastic around, and the air usually smells a bit like ozone and machine oil. We have a small crew that stays busy managing the production lines. It is a lot of repetitive work, checking the thickness of the insulation or making sure the copper is winding correctly. We do not have a fancy lobby for visitors because most people who come here are just delivering materials or picking up orders. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, and the windows are a bit grimy from the factory dust. We have a break room where the chairs do not really match, but the tea is always hot. It is a straightforward operation where we focus on getting the cables out the door. We do not spend much time on appearances; we just care about the machines running smoothly and the orders being accurate. Most days are long and physical, but we are used to the pace of the industrial estate. It is just a regular warehouse and production spot where we put in our hours.
