Welcast Steels is located out at Plot No. 15 in the Peenya Industrial Area. If you know Peenya, you know it’s a massive place filled with all sorts of factories and workshops. Our plot is tucked away, and it can be a bit dusty when the wind picks up. It’s an industrial setting through and through. There is always the sound of machines or trucks moving in the background. We’ve been at this spot for a long time, and the building has seen better days, but it’s sturdy. The floor is usually covered in some kind of grit, and the air smells a bit like metal and oil. It’s not the kind of place where you’d wear your best clothes. We don't have a big reception area; you usually just walk in and find someone on the floor or in the small back office. We don't bother with marketing brochures or fancy talk. People come to us because they know where we are and what we do. The power goes out occasionally, which is typical for the area, so we just wait it out or use the generator. It’s a tough environment but a productive one. We just focus on the steel and the orders that need to go out. It’s a long day, but we get the job done without much fuss. We're just a group of regular people working with heavy materials.
