Warehouse Coordinator

Working as a warehouse coordinator in Jayanagar means things are always moving around. We are tucked away in the 4th T Block, specifically on the 18th Main. It is a residential area mostly, so we have to be careful with how we move things so we don't bother the neighbors too much. The space at 1831/A is where everything happens. I spend most of my day checking boxes, looking at lists, and making sure nothing gets lost in the corners. Bangalore traffic makes deliveries a bit of a headache sometimes, but we just deal with it as it comes. The 3rd Cross is a tight spot, so the drivers have to be really good at backing up. Inside the warehouse, it isn't very pretty. It is just shelves and stacks of stuff that need to go somewhere else. I have a small desk where I keep the logbooks. I don't use much fancy software, just basic notes to keep track of what comes in and what goes out. Some days it is really quiet and I just reorganize the shelves, and other days three trucks show up at once and it is a bit of a mess. It is just me and a couple of other guys usually. We drink a lot of tea and try to stay on top of the work. It is a regular job in a busy part of the city.
