Vishnavi Packaging

We're located at number 36 on Doddangamangala Road. To find us, you have to go behind the Mico-Boch area in Naganathapura, just off Hosa Road. It's a bit tucked away, so people sometimes miss the turn the first time they visit. Vishnavi Packaging is basically a big shed where we handle all sorts of packing materials. It’s a dusty place because of all the cardboard and tape we move around. We don't have air conditioning, so we keep the big doors open to catch whatever breeze we can get. The floor is concrete and often covered in scraps from the day's work. We spend a lot of time on our feet here. There’s a small desk in the corner where we keep the ledger and the phone, but mostly we are out on the floor. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s steady. We have a small crew, mostly guys from the local neighborhood who have been with us since we started. We don't have any fancy mission statements. We just try to get the bundles packed right and sent out on time. Sometimes the trucks are late, or we run out of a certain size of box, and we have to scramble to fix it. That's just part of the business. It’s hard work, but we’re used to it and we like being our own bosses.
