Vijayalakshmi Marketing

Vijayalakshmi Marketing is situated at number 153 on Chinchwad Road in Vishveshwaraiah Puram. It is not a retail shop where you can just walk in and buy a single item. We do more of the wholesale and distribution side of things. The building is mostly storage and a small office space where we handle all the orders. It is a lot of boxes moving in and out every day. The road outside is always busy with delivery vans, which makes it a bit chaotic during the morning rush. We have been here for a while now, so we have gotten used to the noise. Inside, it is mostly the sound of tape dispensers and people checking clipboards. We are not big on decorations; we just have some old calendars on the walls and a lot of metal shelving. My father started this business, and now we just keep it going. It is a lot of phone calls to suppliers and making sure the trucks are loaded correctly. Sometimes things go missing in transit, and we have to spend the whole day tracking them down. It can be stressful, but we have got a good crew. We do not do any fancy marketing for ourselves, which is funny given the name of the company. We just focus on getting the products to the people who ordered them. It is practical work and it keeps us busy from dawn to dusk.
