Vijaya Silk Supplies

Our place is on the first floor at 85, 23rd Cross. We are right near the Rangaswami Temple Street, which is off B V K Iyengar Road. This part of Bangalore is known for wholesale and supplies, so we fit right in. We focus on getting silk supplies out to people who need them for their own making or selling. The building we are in is one of those older structures where the stairs are a bit steep. Once you get up to the first floor, it’s basically just rows of supplies. We don't have any big displays or fancy lighting. It’s just a workspace where we manage the stock. Most of the people who come to us are regulars who know exactly what they want. We spend a lot of time on the phone or writing down orders in our ledgers. The area can be a real headache with traffic, but that’s the reality of being in this hub. We like being close to the temple street because there is always life around. It’s not a corporate environment at all. It’s just a few of us working among the rolls and bundles of silk. We try to keep things organized, but on busy days, it can look a bit messy. That’s just the nature of the supply business. We just stay here and make sure the bundles go to the right people.
