We are Vernekar Jewel Palace Llp, located right in the heart of Malleswaram. You can find our place at No. 92 on the 1st floor of the building on 2nd Main. Malleswaram is one of those old-school areas of Bangalore that still feels like a real neighborhood to us. We’ve got a pretty decent space here for our work. It’s not on the ground floor, so you have to walk up the stairs, but it’s easy enough to find once you are on the street. We work with jewelry, obviously, and it keeps us quite occupied. The shop has a lot of history in the way we handle things, though we don't like to make a big deal out of it. It’s just a regular jewelry business. People come in, look at things, and we help them out as best as we can. The streets outside are usually full of people shopping for flowers or vegetables, especially in the mornings. It gives the whole area a nice, lively atmosphere. We try to keep the shop tidy, but it's a working space first, so there's always something sitting on the counter or a project being worked on. Being on 2nd Main is very convenient for everyone. Bangalore-560003 is our pin code and we've been here for a good while. We’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years. But we stay consistent with what we do. Just a local business doing what we know. No corporate polish, just us.
