Veeyes Electronics

We have been running this small electronics place in New Thippasandray for quite some time now. You can find us right on the 8th Main, near the 5th Croos intersection. It is a busy little corner of Bangalore, and there is always plenty of noise from the street coming into the shop. G. Seetharamu is the name on the lease, but most people just know us as the local spot to get things fixed. The shop itself is pretty simple and can get a bit cluttered with all the wires and spare parts we keep around. Most days are spent sitting at the workbench, squinting at circuit boards or trying to figure out why a customer’s gadget won't turn on. We don't have a big fancy storefront or any slick advertisements. People usually just wander in because they live nearby or someone told them we could help with a broken remote. It gets pretty dusty with the Bangalore traffic outside, so I am always wiping down the glass counters, though it doesn't seem to stay clean for long. We open up around ten in the morning, and we stay here until the work is done. It is not the most glamorous job, but we like being part of the neighborhood. Sometimes we have to tell people a part will take a week to arrive, and they aren't happy, but that’s just how it goes. We just do our work and go home.
