Universal Power Transformer Pvt Ltd.

We are over at No. 26/A in the 2nd Phase of Peenya Industrial Area. This is where we put together power transformers. It is a fairly large space because you need the room when you are dealing with big equipment. If you walk inside, you will see a lot of copper wire and heavy steel cores sitting on the floor. It is physical work and we use an overhead crane quite often to move things around. The floor always has a bit of oil on it, which is pretty common for a place that makes transformers. We have been at this address for a long time now. The whole neighborhood is packed with other shops making all kinds of different parts. During the summer, we keep the big bay doors open to get a breeze, otherwise, it gets very hot with the machines running. The office is just a small corner we partitioned off with some wood and glass. It has a couple of old desks and a lot of folders full of drawings. We don't spend much time sitting in there since the real work is out on the shop floor. We have a few guys who have been with us since we opened. They know exactly how each unit is supposed to go together. We don't do any real advertising. Most people find us because they need a transformer and they know we're here in Peenya. It’s a noisy and busy place, but we keep things moving along.
