United Spring Machine Co.

Our spot is at 270/1 on Vishweshwaraiah Road in Begur. If you know the area, you know how busy that road can get with trucks and bikes zooming past all day long. United Spring Machine Co. is right in the middle of all that activity. We spend most of our time dealing with heavy parts and those big machines that make springs. The air inside the workshop always has that metallic tang to it. It gets pretty hot in the afternoons, so we usually keep the big doors wide open to catch whatever breeze comes off the street. There are always pieces of scrap metal and old tools lying around on the workbenches. We aren't the type of people to sit behind a computer all day. Most of the time, our clothes have a few grease spots and we are busy adjusting a gear or checking a motor. Begur is a place where people are always busy, and we are no different. Sometimes a neighbor drops in for a chat or to borrow a wrench, and that is just how things go around here. We don't go in for big marketing talk or fancy promises. We just look at what needs to be fixed or built and we get to it. By the time we lock up at night, the traffic on Vishweshwaraiah Road is finally starting to thin out a little bit. It is honest work and it keeps us busy.
