Out here in Byatarayanapura, our day starts pretty early when the shutters go up. We are Unilet Appliances Pvt Ltd and we’ve been tucked away in this spot for a bit. The shop is filled with rows of stoves, fridges, and smaller kitchen gadgets that we spend a lot of time rearranging. It’s not the quietest area, so there’s always the sound of traffic and people outside. We keep a ledger on the front desk that’s getting a bit worn at the edges, but it works for us. Most of the time, we’re busy helping someone figure out which model fits their space or just moving items around to make room for a new delivery. The floor isn't always spotless because people are coming in and out all day, especially when it rains and everyone brings in some mud. We don't mind much. It’s a practical place where we just focus on the work at hand. Sometimes we sit in the back with a cup of tea when it’s slow, just looking at the inventory. It's a lot of metal and plastic, but it’s what we know. By the time evening rolls around, we’re usually a bit tired from lifting things, but it’s just part of the routine. We don't do anything flashy or have a polished look, we just run the shop here in Byatarayanapura as best as we can.
