Tuticorin Alkali Chemicals & Fertilisers Ltd. has its main office at the East Coast Centre, 553 Anna Salai in Teynampet. This is a very central part of the city and it is always crowded outside. Our office is part of a larger building that houses many other companies. We have been here for years and we are quite used to the pace of Teynampet. Working with chemicals and fertilizers means we have to deal with a lot of regulations and logistics. Our staff includes people who have been with the company since they were young. We have a lot of filing cabinets and old desks that have seen better days. It is a functional workspace where we focus on getting the orders processed and the schedules met. We do not have any modern art on the walls or fancy coffee machines. It is just a regular office where we do our work and talk about the news during our lunch breaks. The traffic on Anna Salai can be a nightmare in the evenings, so we usually try to wrap things up and head out before it gets too blocked up. It is a stable place to work and we know what is expected of us each day.
