Toolcraft

Toolcraft is tucked away at A05 in the H.M.T. Industrial Estate. It is an older area of town, but it works perfectly for what we need. We make tools here. It sounds like a simple enough job, but there are a lot of small details that can easily go wrong if you are not paying close attention to the machines. The floor stays covered in metal shavings most days of the week. We try to clean up regularly, but those shavings always seem to come back. That is just the nature of this business. We have a few old machines that still run great after all these years, along with some newer ones we added. The guys in the shop have been working together for a long time, so we do not need to say much to get things moving. It is a relatively quiet kind of shop compared to some of the massive factories located nearby. We deal with a lot of very specific requests, usually things that people cannot just find in a regular hardware store. It takes a good bit of patience to get everything right. Sometimes a piece of steel does not behave quite like you expect it to. We just keep at it until the piece is finished. We are not trying to be the biggest shop in the city, just the one that gets the job done. It is a decent living for us and we like being part of the estate.
