Tile Italia

You can find our shop at Gem Plaza on Infantry Road. It is a very busy street, so there is always something happening outside our window. We sell tiles for all sorts of uses, mostly for people fixing up their houses or building new ones. The shop isn't huge, but we have managed to fit a lot of displays in there so you can see the different patterns and finishes. We spend our time talking to customers and helping them figure out how many boxes they need for their floors or walls. It's a lot of math and carrying heavy sample boards around. We've been at this location for a good many years and we've seen the neighborhood change a lot. Infantry Road is a good spot, though parking is always a bit of a struggle for everyone. We don't have a big corporate office or anything like that. It’s just a small team of us. Sometimes the shop gets a bit messy when we are moving new stock in, but we try to keep it decent for the people coming in. We don't do any flashy advertising. Most of our customers come in because they were walking past or a friend told them about us. We just try to be straightforward about what we have and how much it costs. It’s a simple way to run a business, and it seems to work well enough for us.
