Tensil Glass Works

We've been here at Kasturinagar for a while now. The shop is at 141, 2 H Main. It's mostly glass stuff here. When people come in, they usually want something specific for their windows or maybe a table top. We handle the cutting and the fitting by hand. It's not a fancy place at all, just a dusty workspace where we get things done. Some days are much busier than others, and the floor gets covered in tiny shards that we have to sweep up constantly. If you walk down 2nd H Main, you'll see us pretty easily. We have all kinds of glass sheets leaning against the walls, from clear ones to some frosted patterns. It can get a bit loud with all the sanding and the polishing machines going on. I’ve worked with glass most of my life, so I know how it behaves. It is a tricky material to master. You really have to be careful with the edges or you'll get a nasty cut. We don't really do big advertising or anything like that. Most folks just find us because they live nearby or a friend told them we do okay work. It’s a small team, just a few of us making sure the orders are ready when we said they would be. Sometimes there's a delay if a specific type of glass takes time to arrive, but we try to keep the basics in stock. It’s just a regular local business. We've seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. Glass is glass, you know? It breaks, and then we replace it. That’s pretty much how it goes for us every day.
