Sudarshana Netralaya

You can find Sudarshana Netralaya at No. 452 in RS Plaza. We are on the first floor, right above the Kids Kingdom shop. It’s a busy stretch of Sampige Road between 6th and 7th Cross in Malleshwaram. If you know Bangalore, you know how crowded this street can get, especially on weekends when everyone is out shopping. We’ve been in this building for a while now. The stairs can be a bit steep for some people, but there is a lift if it's working properly that day. We see a lot of people for eye stuff. Most of them are folks from the local area who have been coming to Malleshwaram for years. The waiting area has some old magazines and a few plastic chairs. It’s not a very big space, but we make it work. Sometimes the noise from the street downstairs drifts up, but you get used to it after a few days of working here. We have a couple of rooms for exams and a small area for the staff to eat lunch. It’s a simple setup. We don’t do fancy posters or have big TV screens. Usually, we just talk to the patients and tell them what’s going on with their eyes. It’s a lot of work keeping things tidy with so many people coming in and out from the market. We just keep at it every day. Most of our staff lives nearby so we walk to work.
