You can find our workshop at A R Mansion in Malleshwaram, over in the Old Ot Pet area. We’ve been at this address for a long time, fixing all kinds of things that people bring to us. At Star Electronic Services, our benches are usually piled high with disassembled gadgets, soldering irons, and tangled wires. It’s not the neatest place you’ve ever seen, but we know exactly where every screw and component belongs. We mostly deal with televisions, audio systems, and other home electronics that have stopped working. People from the surrounding streets know they can drop off their broken items and we’ll take a look at them. Sometimes it’s a quick fix like a blown fuse, and other times we have to hunt for a part that isn't made anymore. We don't have a fancy showroom or sales staff. It’s just a few of us who like figuring out why things aren't turning on. The lighting in the shop is bright so we can see the small circuits, and there’s usually some old radio playing in the background. We aren't a big service center for a major brand; we just fix what comes through the door. It’s honest, steady work that keeps us busy from morning till night. We take pride in the fact that we can often save an old device that someone else might have just thrown away.
