St. Marthas Heart Centre

St. Marthas Heart Centre is located at Office No. 5. It is a small setup compared to those massive hospitals you see in the city center. We focus on heart health here. Most people who walk in are looking to get their blood pressure checked or maybe an ECG done because they haven't been feeling quite right lately. The office isn't very big, but we have managed to fit the essential machines in there. It can get a bit cramped when there are more than four people waiting at once. We usually tell people to come early if they want to get out fast. The desks are a bit old and the chairs in the waiting section are basic plastic ones. We don't have a fancy coffee machine or anything, just a water cooler in the corner. Being at Office No. 5 makes us easy to find once you enter the building. We spend most of our day looking at charts and talking to patients about their daily habits. Sometimes the phone rings off the hook and other times it is very quiet. We have a couple of nurses who have been with us for years. They know most of the regular patients by name. We don't do big surgeries here; we are more about the day-to-day monitoring and checkups. It’s a practical place for people who live nearby and don't want to travel far for a quick heart check.
