You can find the Sri Sri Centre For Media Studies at Jayanagar 19. Jayanagar is a nice area with plenty of trees and wide roads, and our center fits right into the neighborhood. We spend our days teaching and working on media projects, and it’s always a bit of a hive of activity. There are usually students coming and going, or people working on cameras and editing. We don’t have a massive campus, just a functional space at number 19 where we can focus on the work at hand. The building is a bit older, which gives it some character, though the stairs can be a bit much if you’re carrying heavy gear. We try to keep things organized, but with media work, there’s always a bit of creative mess lying around—cables, tripods, and notes. We don’t go in for big marketing campaigns or anything polished. We just show up and put in the hours. The coffee shop down the street is where we usually end up for breaks. Jayanagar is a good place for a media center because it’s easy for people to get to, and it’s a relatively quiet spot to think. We aren't a giant institution; we’re just a group of people interested in media, working out of a decent building in a good part of town. Every day is a bit different here, which is exactly why we enjoy it.
