Sree Padmini Silk World

I've been at 210 C Link Rd for quite some time now. Sree Padmini Silk World is just a small place in Seshadripuram Malleswaram where we handle silks. It’s busy around here most days. People come in looking for different things, and we try to keep the shelves stocked as best as we can. Sometimes the traffic on Link Road is a real mess, but we are always open when we say we will be. My family has been doing this kind of thing for years. We don't have a fancy website or anything like that. We just focus on the fabric and the people who walk in. If you walk past the corner, you’ll see our sign. It isn't a huge mall, just a regular shop where things are a bit cramped. I spend most of my day folding clothes and talking to the regulars who live nearby. Malleswaram has changed a lot since I was a kid, but this spot stays about the same. The light inside isn't the brightest, but you can see the colors well enough if you take them to the door. We have a lot of different patterns piled up in the back. Some days are slow, while on others we can't even sit down for a minute. It’s just how it goes in a silk shop. We are right there on the main stretch and most people know the building. I usually open up early before it gets too hot.
