Our place is at No. 12, right on R.V. Road in Basavanagudi. It’s actually the old site number 52, just behind the South End Metro station. Being so close to the station means there’s a constant stream of people walking past our door all day. Most of them are in a hurry to catch a train or are just getting home from work. We do fast food, so everything is about moving quickly and getting things out. The kitchen is small and gets very hot, especially during the summer months. We’ve got a couple of guys who have been with us for years now. Kazi Road is right there too, so it’s a busy intersection. You can hear the metro trains every few minutes if you listen closely enough. We keep the counter stocked and the tea brewing almost all day long. The floor is old tile and shows its age, but we scrub it down every night before we leave. We don't really have a big menu, just the things we know how to make well. Sometimes the neighbors come in just to chat for a few minutes while they wait for their food. It’s a very local vibe here. We don't use fancy packaging or anything, just simple plates and wraps. It’s just a normal spot for people to grab a quick bite on their way somewhere else. We stay open until the last train of the night usually passes by the station.
