Sonodyne Electronics

Working in Bangalore means dealing with a lot of noise and traffic, but here at S. G Palaya, it’s a bit more manageable once you get into the layout. We are at Number 89, Ss Nivas, on the 2nd Main of Bharathi Layout near D R C Post. Sonodyne Electronics has been in this building for a few years. It’s a typical Bangalore residential-style building that we’ve adapted for our work. We do a lot of technical work here, focusing on electronic components. The workspace is usually cluttered with parts and tools. We don't have a big corporate lobby. If you come by, you’ll probably just see us sitting at our benches with our magnifying lamps on. The 2nd Main road is narrow, so parking can be a bit of a nightmare if you have a car. Most of our regulars just come on their bikes. We spend a lot of time talking to customers about their specific needs. It’s not a quick 'in and out' kind of place. We like to take the time to look at things properly. Sometimes we have tea delivered from the shop at the corner and take a break on the small balcony. It’s a very grounded way of working. No fancy titles, just a group of people who know their way around a circuit board. We’ve stayed here because the community is good and we know the area well. It feels right to be a part of this neighborhood for our business.
