You can find us over on Mysore Road in Bangalore. We are at a place called Sumanilayam, which is number 15 on the 1st Main in Deepanjalinagar. We are located c/o Anandappa. It’s a bit of a maze to find us if you aren't familiar with the side streets off the main road. The area is always buzzing because Mysore Road is a major artery for the city. Here at Solectron Ems India Ltd, we have a fairly straightforward operation. We deal with the assembly of electronic components. The workspace is functional, with plenty of light coming in during the day, which helps when you are looking at tiny parts. We have been here for a while now and the routine doesn't change much. We start in the morning, check what needs to be done for the day, and get to work. It’s a small group of us, so we all end up doing a bit of everything. There isn't a dedicated cleaning crew or a front desk person. We just keep our own spaces tidy and answer the door when someone knocks. The building is an older style, though the stairs can be a bit steep when you are carrying heavy boxes. We don't go in for big mission statements or anything like that. We just focus on the task in front of us and try to make sure everything works like it should before it leaves the building. Most of our tools are quite worn but they work fine.
