Solectron Centum Electronics Ltd

Our branch of Solectron Centum Electronics Ltd is located at 117 V. O. C Street in S. Ramalingapuram. This is over in Rajapalayam, so it’s a different pace than the big city life in Bangalore. The street is usually busy with local traffic, and there’s always something happening outside. We have a small office here where we handle the electronics side of things. It’s a very grounded place. We know most of the people on the street, and it feels like a real community. Inside, it’s just a regular workspace. We have our shelves filled with components and our worktables set up for whatever needs fixing or assembling. It’s not a fancy corporate headquarters by any means. We deal with a lot of dust because of the road, so we’re always wiping things down. The fans are usually running full speed because it gets quite warm here. We don't have any glossy manuals or mission statements posted on the walls. We just come in, check the orders, and get to work. Sometimes we stay late when there’s a lot to do, and the street gets quiet except for the occasional scooter passing by. It’s a simple operation, run by people who know their way around a circuit board. We’ve been at this address for a good while and it suits us just fine. If you see us out front talking to the neighbor, we are just taking a break.
