We have been here at No.30, Pride Quadra for a good while now. It’s right next to Baptist Hospital on Bellary Road, which most people in Hebbal know pretty well. If you’ve ever sat in that Hebbal flyover traffic, you’ve probably seen our sign. Sireesh Auto Pvt Ltd isn't some fancy high-rise office; it’s mostly just us working through the day. Sometimes the showroom gets quiet, but usually, there is something going on with a car or someone asking about a part. The guys in the back usually have grease on their hands by nine in the morning. We spend a lot of time talking about engines or helping someone figure out paperwork that seems too long. It gets dusty being so close to the main road, but that is just how it is here. Most of us have worked together for years. We know which floor tiles are loose and which light switch needs a flick to stay on. People stop by because they are nearby or because they saw the cars out front while heading into the city. We don’t do much fancy talking. If someone comes in, we just see what they need. Some days are busier than others, especially when the weather is nice. We just keep things moving, one car at a time, until it’s time to lock up and head home. It’s a job, but it’s our job, and we’re used to the noise from the road by now.
