Shathayu Ayurveda

We are over at 423 Koramangala Vi Bk Main Road. Koramangala is always moving, and being on the main road means there is always something going on outside our windows. Shathayu Ayurveda has been part of this neighborhood for a long time. The building isn't brand new, but it’s sturdy and serves its purpose well. We have a few treatment rooms and a small area where people wait. It’s nothing like those big corporate centers you see in the newspapers. We prefer it this way. It’s more personal. The staff here has been around for years, so we all know how the place runs. We spend a lot of time preparing the oils and the different materials we need for the day. Sometimes the smell of the herbs is quite strong, but we like it. The daily routine is pretty predictable, which is nice. We open up, get the rooms ready, and then start our work. There’s no big mission statement on the wall or anything like that. We just believe in doing the work properly and keeping the place in good order. Dealing with the traffic on the main road is probably the hardest part of the day. Once you step inside, the atmosphere is much more relaxed. We just focus on what needs to be done each day and hope the people who come here feel that we’re doing an honest job.
