We’ve been here in Koramangala at 365 8th Block for quite a while now. Most people know us for the silk pieces we keep in the shop. It’s a busy spot in Venkataswamy Layout, and the traffic outside can be a bit much sometimes, but we like it here. When we started Sha Silk, we just wanted a place where people could find decent fabric without too much fuss. We spend a lot of time looking at different weaves and colors. It's not always easy getting everything right, but we try our best to stock what looks good. Some days the shop is packed and other days it’s just us tidying up the shelves. We have a lot of regular customers who stop by just to see what came in that week. We don't really do fancy displays or anything like that. The silk speaks for itself mostly. We keep things simple. If you’re walking around the 8th Block, you’ll probably see our sign. It’s just a small local business run by people who actually care about what they’re selling. We handle the rolls of cloth, measure them out, and chat with whoever walks through the door. It gets a bit dusty with all the fabric, but that’s just how it is. We aren't trying to be some big chain. We just like being part of the neighborhood here. We focus on the everyday needs of folks who want something genuine and not overpriced. It’s just us doing our thing and hoping the colors stay bright for everyone who buys from us.
