We are located in the My Sugar Building on J.C. Road, which is a pretty well-known spot right across from Ravindra Kalakshethra. Being on the third floor gives us a bit of a break from the noise of the street below, though J.C. Road is always loud. Sanwa Diamond Tools Pvt. Ltd. has been operating out of this space for a good bit now. We handle industrial tools, specifically stuff with diamond tips for cutting and grinding. It’s specialized work, so we don't get a lot of random foot traffic, mostly just professionals who know exactly what they are looking for. The office is functional, filled with catalogs and samples of different blades and bits. We spend a lot of time on the phone with suppliers and shipping companies. It can get a bit hectic when a big order comes in and we have to check everything over. The building itself has that old Bangalore feel to it. We like being centrally located because it makes it easier for our clients to drop by if they need to discuss a custom tool or pick something up in a hurry. We just stick to what we know, which is diamond tools. It’s a niche business, and we’ve been at it long enough to know the ins and outs of the trade without making a big fuss about it. The elevators work most of the time.
