Samsons Leather Garments

We are located at # 59, O. B. B. Road, and if you walk past, you’ll definitely smell the leather before you see the sign for Samsons Leather Garments. It’s a strong, earthy scent that we’ve all grown to love over the years. Our workshop isn't a place for people who mind a bit of noise or mess. We have heavy-duty sewing machines that hum all day long, and the floor is usually covered in small scraps of hide that we sweep up at the end of every shift. O. B. B. Road is a busy stretch, and we get a lot of trucks passing by, which adds to the general racket. We don't have a fancy lobby. When you walk in, you’re pretty much right in the middle of where the work happens. We have a few sturdy racks where we hang the finished jackets and vests, but most of the space is taken up by the big cutting tables. The light comes in through some high windows, which is good for seeing the texture of the skins we’re working with. We aren't into big corporate strategies. We just focus on making sure the zippers are on straight and the seams are strong. It’s hard work on the hands, and we all have a few calluses to show for it. We like the grit of this place and wouldn't really want to be anywhere else.
