We’re located at No 27 on G B Munikrishnappa Road. It’s in the Byrappa Garden area of Ramachandrapura, out near Jalahalli. It’s a bit of a trek if you’re coming from the center of Bangalore, but it’s a lot quieter out here. We’ve been running Rivido for a bit now. It’s a simple building. We don’t have a massive team of people in uniforms. Usually, it’s just one or two of us at the desk. We handle everything from the laundry to the plumbing when it goes wrong. The neighborhood is mostly families and small shops. We like being part of the local community. It’s not the kind of place you’d find in a glossy travel magazine. It’s just a practical building where people stay when they have work in the north part of the city. We keep the rooms tidy and try to make sure the fans and lights work properly. Sometimes the street gets a bit muddy when it rains heavily, but we try to keep the entrance clear. We don't have big speeches about our values. We just want to make sure the person staying here has a decent night. It’s a lot of work keeping up with the maintenance, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We’re just a local business trying to do an honest job every single day for the people who come here for work.
