Ratan Industries

Our place is located at No. A-25 on the 4th Cross of Magadi Road. We are right near the Anjan Theatre, so if you know where that is, you will find us without much trouble. Ratan Industries has been in this particular spot for a long time. The neighborhood is mostly industrial, which means there is plenty of noise and grease around, but that suits us just fine. We have a small crew working here. Mostly we stay busy with the machines and making sure the orders go out when they are supposed to. The building is an older one and it has that specific smell of metal and oil that never really goes away. It is not the kind of place where you would ever see someone wearing a suit. We wear our work shirts and usually have some dirt under our nails by the time lunch rolls around. We do not have a fancy reception area with a couch. If you come in to see us, you might have to shout over the sound of the grinders to get our attention. We just do the work that comes through the door. Sometimes it is a big batch of parts, and other times it is just something small. The tea stall around the corner is where we usually take our breaks. It is a regular life. We do not talk about big goals. We just look at the schedule for the day and get to it. Magadi Road is always jammed, so we have learned to be patient with the deliveries. That is just how it goes here.
