Rangalakshmi Netralaya is tucked away at 205413th B Main Near Mother Dairy Cross Yelahanka New Town. Being near Mother Dairy Cross means most people use that as a landmark to find us. Yelahanka New Town has grown so much lately, and there are always new buildings going up around here. Our clinic is a place where people come when they are having trouble reading the news or seeing things far away. We have a set routine every morning, opening up the shutters and checking the machines. The waiting area is simple with a few rows of chairs. We see a lot of elderly people from the surrounding blocks who need their eyes checked. The staff is usually busy handling the registration books or guiding people to the darkrooms for testing. It can get a bit cramped when several families show up at once, but we manage. You can hear the traffic from the main road, but inside we try to keep it calm. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that; we just rely on people knowing we are here. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait for the backup to kick in, which is just part of living in this area. We focus on basic eye health and getting people the right prescriptions. It is a practical, no-nonsense kind of place where we just do our daily work. Most of our day is spent cleaning lenses and talking to patients about their sight.
