Our place, Radiowaves Electronics India Ltd, is tucked away in Frazer Town. We are in Flat No B4 inside the Kiranbagh Apartments on 21 Viviani Road. Bangalore has changed so much, but this part of town still has some of that old character. The apartment building isn't one of those new high-rises. It’s a bit more modest. Working out of an apartment means it feels more like a home than an office. We have our desks set up in the different rooms, and the kitchen is always full of tea mugs. The trees along Viviani Road provide some decent shade, which is a relief. It gets a bit noisy when school lets out nearby, but otherwise, it is fairly calm. We have been in Bangalore 560005 for quite a while now. The space is a bit small for all the gear we have, but we make it work. Sometimes the lift in the building acts up, so we end up taking the stairs. It’s not a polished corporate headquarters, just a functional space where we spend our days. We know the local shopkeepers and the folks who live in the other flats. It’s a friendly atmosphere. If you ever find yourself in Frazer Town, you’ll see it’s a nice mix of old houses and small businesses like ours. We just keep our heads down and do the work we need to do. Karnataka is a big place, but this little flat is where we are.
