We’re located at 328, 4th Cross in Sector-5, Bangalore. It’s a decent area, and we’ve been here at Poseidon Design Systems Pvt for a good while. The office is pretty straightforward. We have a front door that sticks a bit in the rainy season, and the rooms inside are filled with the hum of computers. We don’t have a big reception area or a person waiting at the door. Usually, you just walk in and find one of us at a desk. It’s a small team, so we all end up doing a bit of everything, whether it’s technical work or just tidying up the kitchen. The neighborhood is mostly quiet, which is nice when we need to focus on a difficult design. We have a few plants on the windowsills that some of us try to keep alive, though we forget to water them sometimes. Our chairs are mismatched, and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it doesn't really affect the work we do. We spend most of our time staring at screens and discussing how to fix bugs or improve a layout. There’s always someone running out to get snacks or tea for the rest of the group. It’s not a high-stress corporate environment. We just show up, do what needs to be done, and try to make sure we don’t get stuck in too much traffic on the way home.
