We are set up in Electronic City at 134/2, which is a bit of a trek for some of us but it’s where all the technical stuff happens for Pope Professional India Pvt Ltd. At this location, we focus on audio gear and big sound systems. The warehouse is filled with crates of speakers and amplifiers that are surprisingly heavy. Most of our day is spent unboxing things, testing the sound levels, and then packing them back up to ship out. Sometimes we turn the volume up a bit too high and the neighbors in the next unit come over to complain. We have a small demo room where the acoustics are better, but mostly it’s just industrial floors and metal shelving. It’s a lot of technical talk about ohms and wattage. We aren't sales people with suits; we are mostly just guys who like gear and know how to hook it up. The office in Electronic City gets pretty hot in the afternoons, so we have a few fans going all the time. We keep track of everything on a big whiteboard that’s getting a bit stained. It’s a simple operation at 134/2, and we don't have a fancy showroom. People who know about us usually just call or stop by to see what’s in stock. We just focus on making sure the equipment works like it should before it leaves the building today and gets sent out to the customers.
