We are tucked away in Devasandra, right off New Bel Road in Bangalore. The office is actually in a house, number 606, looking after the electronic side of things. It’s a bit of a squeeze with all the computers and equipment we have stuffed into the rooms. R. B. Patil is the one who keeps things running here. Bangalore is full of these big tech parks, but we prefer being in a real neighborhood like Shelter. It feels more grounded. You can hear the traffic from the main road sometimes, but mostly it’s just the sound of us typing or testing out boards. We have a lot of wires everywhere. It’s a bit of a tripping hazard if you aren't careful. We aren't the type of place with fancy glass walls and free snacks. We just have a kettle and some biscuits in the kitchen. Most of the time we are focused on the technical stuff. Sometimes we lose track of time and realize it's dark outside. The garden outside is a nice place to take a break when the weather is good. We’ve got a small team. Everyone does a bit of everything. It’s not very formal. You might see someone working in their slippers. We just want to get the circuits right. Being in Karnataka, we get the usual rain, and sometimes the roof leaks a tiny bit, but we’ve got a bucket for that. It’s just how it is here. We are just a small group working.
