Nikhat Leather Garments

Nikhat Leather Garments is located on the 1st floor of a building on 7th Street, right by Jumma Masjid Road. It’s a lively neighborhood, especially on Fridays when the whole street is packed with people. Our shop is at number 8, and you have to walk up a flight of stairs to get to us. The air around here usually smells like tea from the local stalls and sometimes you can catch the scent of the leather we work with. We spend a lot of time cutting and stitching, so the space is often filled with scraps and thread. It’s not a large showroom by any means, but we have enough room to do what needs to be done. We’ve been in this part of town for quite some time and we know most of the other shopkeepers around here. Sometimes the electricity acts up or the street gets blocked by a delivery truck, but we just work around it. Our daily routine is pretty simple. We open up in the morning, check what orders need to be finished, and get to work. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who know how to handle the machines. It’s hard work and it can get quite hot in the afternoons, but it’s what we do. We don't really bother with fancy signs or anything. People usually find us by word of mouth or they just know where we are on the street.
