Our shop is in Rajajinagar at Calico Dom 46. It’s a well-known area and we’ve been part of the street for a good while now. The building is older, which gives it a bit of character that you don't find in the newer malls. Inside, we’ve set everything up to be as useful as possible. We have the hair stations on one side and the skin treatment rooms toward the back. It’s a place where people come to get their usual grooming done without any big drama. We know most of the shopkeepers on the block, and we often chat with them during the slower hours. The floor is tile and we try our best to keep it clean, though hair tends to get everywhere by mid-afternoon. We don't have a big marketing team; we just rely on people seeing our sign and walking in. The neighborhood is fairly traditional, so we see a lot of families. Sometimes we have three generations of the same family coming in at once. It gets loud and busy, but that’s when it feels most like home. We focus on the basics like cuts, shaves, and simple facials. We aren't trying to reinvent anything, just trying to provide a decent place for the locals to come. The Calico Dom area has its own rhythm, and we’ve fit right into it over the years. It is a simple life we lead here.
