We are located over at Ashwath Nagar Bal Vatika, right by Kankaria Lake at number 10. Being near the lake means there are always families and kids running around outside. Our shop is a bit small, but it’s a good spot to be in. We open up every morning and the first thing we do is clean up from the day before. There’s a lot of dust that comes in from the street, so we are always wiping things down. It’s just a few of us working here. We talk a lot while we work, mostly about what’s happening in the neighborhood or what we’re having for lunch. The space is simple with just the basic equipment we need to do our work. Customers come in looking for a bit of a change or just a quick trim. We don't do anything too fancy, just the standard stuff people ask for. On festival days, the whole area gets really crowded and it’s hard to even get to the door. We’ve had some long days here, especially during the wedding season when everyone wants to look their best. We don't have any big corporate goals or anything. We just want to make sure the people who come in leave feeling okay and that we can pay our bills at the end of the month. It’s a practical way to live. We’re just a local business by the lake.
