Southern Surgicals is based out of N. R. Colony in the Murugeshpalya area, right near the Old Airport Road in Bangalore. This part of town has changed a lot over the years, but we’ve stayed in this same spot. We work with surgical tools and supplies. It’s a serious kind of business because doctors need things to be exactly right. We spend a lot of time checking the quality of the steel and making sure the inventory counts are correct. The building itself is an older style, typical for this neighborhood. It’s got that lived-in feel where everyone knows which floorboard creaks. We don't have a big corporate lobby or a receptionist in a suit. Usually, you’ll just find one of us at a desk surrounded by stacks of invoices and boxes ready for shipping. It can get a bit dusty with all the cardboard, but we keep the actual products clean and ready. We’ve stayed away from all that modern management jargon. We just come in, see what the hospitals need, and get it delivered. The traffic on Old Airport Road can be a nightmare in the evenings, so we try to get our deliveries out early in the morning. It’s just a regular local business trying to do honest work in a busy city. There isn't much more to it than that. We just focus on getting the right tools to the right people.
