This location is in the Sadarmangala Industrial Area, right off the Whitefield Main Road at 6-A. Being in Devanagundi, we’re right in the middle of all that industrial growth that’s been happening around Bangalore. It’s a big site compared to a small shop. We spend a lot of time dealing with the logistics of getting parts in and out. The Whitefield traffic is something we talk about every single day, it’s basically part of the job description to complain about it. Inside the gate, things are a bit more orderly. We deal with various electronic components, mostly connectors and specialized wiring things. It’s not the kind of place where people just walk in off the street to browse. We have specific schedules and a lot of boxes to move. The warehouse side of the building is usually the busiest. I’ve been working around this area for a few years now, and you see how the factories just keep popping up. Our spot at 6-A is pretty well-known to the drivers who deliver our materials. It’s a lot of metal, concrete, and functional spaces. We don't have time for a lot of extras. We just focus on getting the orders right and making sure the inventory matches what the computer says. The lunchroom is where we get most of our news from the other departments. It’s a busy life, but it keeps us moving and the days go by pretty fast since there's always a shipment waiting.
