Metro Granites & Mining Pvt Ltd is based right in the middle of things on M.G. Road. We’re up on the sixth floor of Mittal Tower, in the 'B' Wing, room 605. It’s a big building and sometimes the elevators take a minute, but we like being this high up. You can see a bit of the city from the windows if you stand in the right spot. M.G. Road is always crowded, so getting into the office in the morning can be a bit of a struggle with the traffic and the people. Once you get inside the tower, things quiet down a little bit. We’ve got a standard office setup where we manage the mining side of the business and keep track of the granite. It’s a lot of phone calls and ledger books for us. We aren't really the type for fancy digital boards or glass walls. The furniture is a bit older, and the files are stacked where we can reach them. It’s a working office, not a place for showing off. We’ve been at number 6, M.G. Road for quite a while now. Most of the other tenants in the 'B' wing know us by now. We just come in, do our hours, and try to stay ahead of the paperwork. It’s a solid place to work from and suits our needs just fine. We don't need much more than a quiet spot to get our work sorted out every day.
