Our place is located at 56, Whitefield Palms, which is on Plot No 9 & 10 in the Whitefield area. It is a big building and a lot of people work here every day. Even though the name on the front is Mercedes Benz Research & Development India Pvt. Ltd., inside it is just a lot of regular people doing their jobs. We have a lot of desks and computers where folks spend their time looking at data and designs. The Whitefield Palms area is quite developed now, and there are many offices around us. It is a bit different from a small shop because there are security guards and gates you have to go through. Most of the staff here are working on technical things related to cars and how they are built or how they run. It can get pretty quiet in the hallways when everyone is focused on their screens. We have some meeting rooms and a place to get coffee, which is where most of the talking happens. It is a modern space, for sure, with big windows and lots of light coming in. Even with the big name, the daily routine is pretty much what you would expect in any large office. We just show up, do the research work, and head home when the shift is over. Sometimes the commute in Whitefield traffic is the hardest part of the whole day for most of us working here.
