Merakiai Llp is situated at number 91 on Old Madras Road, right in the middle of the Indiranagar area. It is a very busy spot to be in, and sometimes the noise from the street is so loud we have to shut the windows tight just to hear each other talk. The building itself is an older one and has its own little quirks, like the light switch in the back that you have to flick twice to get it to stay on. We have a small team here and we mostly just keep to ourselves, focusing on whatever projects are currently on the desk. There is no big sign out front, so you have to look closely at the door numbers to find us. Inside, it is just a bunch of desks pushed together and a small kitchen area where we make coffee. It is not the most organized place in the world, with papers often ending up in piles where they shouldn't be, but we know where everything is. The location is good because there are plenty of places to grab a quick lunch, even if the traffic is a headache. We don’t spend much time worrying about the decor or making things look perfect for visitors. We are just here to do what needs to be done. It is a practical space for practical work, and it serves us well enough for what we need every day in this city.
