Mayden Vedic Herbal Researches & Formulatio is at 74 Basaveshwara Nagar. We are located in the S M C Market on the ground floor. It’s very close to the Housing Board Bus Stop, so there are always people standing around outside and buses pulling in and out. The noise from the bus engines and the conductors shouting can be heard inside the office all day long. Our space is quite packed with books about herbs and a lot of small bottles and samples. Since we are on the ground floor, people often poke their heads in just to ask for directions to the market. We have a few old computers that take a while to start up in the morning. The floor is made of simple tiles and we have to sweep it a couple of times a day because of all the dust from the street. It’s a very basic office with no air conditioning, so we just leave the front door open. We don't have a big sign outside, just a small one near the entrance. Most of us have worked here for years and we know the routine by heart. We spend a lot of time reading and writing down formulas in our ledgers. It's not a flashy place at all. It’s just a small corner of Basaveshwara Nagar where we do our research and keep to ourselves while the busy market life goes on right outside our door.
