Mathru Shree Nethralaya

Our clinic, Mathru Shree Nethralaya, is tucked into the Gokul Extension area at 818/819 on 16th A Main. It’s a quieter part of the neighborhood, sitting right at the 2nd Cross. Most of the people who come to see us live nearby or heard about us from a friend in the area. We focus entirely on eye care. This means our days are filled with testing vision and looking at cataracts. The office isn't very large. However, we’ve squeezed in everything we need to do a proper job. You might find the paperwork a bit slow sometimes because we still do a lot of things by hand. We get it done eventually. The atmosphere is pretty relaxed compared to those giant hospitals downtown. We have a few benches for waiting and some old magazines that nobody really reads anymore. The doctors here are quite practical. They don't use a lot of big words that nobody understands. They just tell you what’s going on with your eyes and what you need to do about it. It’s an honest way of working. We’ve been in Gokul Extension long enough that we feel like a permanent part of the street. If you are looking for a place that isn't too corporate and where the staff actually remembers your face, that is pretty much us.
