Mariya Aluminium Fabricators

We have been operating our workshop out of Shinde Vasti for quite some time now. It’s located in the Marunji area, right near Tavarekere. Most days start early here because the metal work can get pretty loud and we want to finish before it gets too hot in the afternoon. You will usually find us surrounded by scraps of aluminium and various tools scattered across the floor. It is not the cleanest place you will ever see, but that is just how a fabrication shop is. We spend most of our hours measuring out frames and cutting sections to size for different local jobs. Sometimes the weather in Mulshi makes things a bit slow, especially when it pours and we have to move everything inside so it stays dry. People from around the village often drop by just to see how their pieces are coming along or to ask if we can fix something small for them. We don't have a big office or anything like that, just the main area where the work happens and a small corner to sit down. My hands are usually covered in some kind of grease or metal dust by the time lunch rolls around. We just try to do honest work and keep the shop running day after day. It’s a simple setup we’ve got here at post Marunji, and we are used to the noise of the saws and the smell of the metal. That’s just life at Mariya Aluminium.
