Manju Steels

I’m the person behind Manju Steels. We are located right on the Hesarghatta Main Road. If you know where the Bagalagunte bus stop is, we are very close to that. It’s a convenient spot because of the buses, so my workers and customers find it easily. We deal with steel, as the name says. The shop is often loud and dusty, which is just the nature of the work. I’ve been running this place for several years. I started with just a small corner and slowly took over more space as we needed it. It’s not a shiny showroom. It’s a working yard where things get moved and cut. I spend most of my time out there with the guys, making sure things are being handled properly. I don't sit in an office much. I’d rather be seeing the material myself. We don't have a marketing person or a fancy logo. People come to us because they see the sign or they’ve bought from us before. It’s hard work and the sun gets hot on the metal, but we get through the day. I try to keep the prices fair based on what the market is doing. I don’t promise things I can't deliver. If we don’t have it, I’ll tell you where you might find it. That’s just how I like to run things.
